With our diverse fleet of vessels and highly skilled team, we aim to provide a safe, reliable & consistent service to our clients - no matter how obscure the task may be.

Kenepuru Community Barging Info:
From 1st August 2023 the community barge will run Monday/Wednesday/Friday each week.
General departure time ex Havelock is 0700 - all vehicles, machinery, items are required for loading no later than 0645.
Departure/pick-up times on return trip ex Kenepuru MAY vary due to the nature of the work & tides. Please be patient.
Rates for this service are set by Marlborough District Council, please refer to their website for any clarification.
MDC Relief/Recovery Work
Johnsons Barge Service continues to work with MDC to provide services for sounds residents, farmers, visitors & contractors effected by the flood damage/road closures and restrictions.
ALL bookings for barging are to come directly to our office via, website, email or phone.
